Alright so I shouldn't have gotten so behind. I'll just add some pictures and videos and captions. I think the captions will really let you know whats going on. I will work on May's post soon so that it is ready in MAY LOL
April started out with visitors too! Debbie aka Grammy came to visit for a week and it was FANTASTIC! It's so nice to have family in town because we miss everyone a lot. Silas loves Grammy too! You can tell by the pictures that he loves it when she plays with him.
Silas was making this face for about a week but it's gone now
Playing with Grammy
No wonder he loves playing with her
Grammy wishing she could take him home! (And then Gramzy would be able to see him too)
Silas started having more trouble in the nursery at church. He doesn't cry when I drop him off but he will be playing having a good ol time and then BAM he starts crying - really crying. So they come to get me and usually I figure that he is hungry or tired and the solution for both is nursing. We are trying to work on it but it's hard to fix if you don't know the cause. I thought maybe it was because he doesn't spend time away from us but then he did great with Debbie. She could take him pretty much any where for 3 or 4 hours and he didn't care. He is so great every other day and time that it's really hard to complain. I am really ready for him to start sleeping through the night also. I know that it will eventually happen but it is tough to wait for it! I guess maybe my body has gotten more used to it now though because I am able to enjoy snuggling him when he falls back asleep. I know he won't be little forever and I LOVE those sweet sleepy hugs. It's hard to imagine that one day he will be a junior higher needing homework help!
We painted Silas room and hung up chair rail with the help of Grammy. There is the painted name thing that Megan and I worked on.
The poppy fields are in bloom. It's a good year! Last year we tried to take Aunt Windy and Ashley to see them and it was just a dirt field with 4 poppies - which we got yelled at for standing near! Here is what it should have looked like. They are SO bright!

Nate's pins came out of his wrist - at home, before they were supposed to. The doctor told him to just take them out. It was freaky but actually made it feel a lot better. A few days later he had the surgery to remove all of them. Then Nate played Dr. and decided he would cut of his soft wrap/cast thing and take out his own stitches. And that darn Dr.! He didn't even give Nate a hard time for doing it - "Well, that makes my job easier." WHAT?! Man, now Nate is always gonna play Dr.!!!!!
Grossness
Sorry if that is graphic for you but if you know me then you know I can handle that stuff so ....you should have known it was coming hee hee!
And I started nannying for baby Helen. Well, she is almost a year old. I am just doing this til the end of the school year. Her regular nanny is my good friend Kathy who just had her baby girl, Maggie on May 6th :) It's been challenging but I think it does help me to prioritize so that is great! It's just grocery shopping that has had to be put off til the weekend. I prefer going during the week without the crowds. I know Debbie and Angie - "Push one cart and pull the other" Well not all of us are 1. super women and 2. crazy, yeah you guys are, don't deny it LOL If I get brave enough to take them one day then I am determined to do it with one cart. I suppose if I were one of the other Walters women this wouldn't be an option because I would be trying to feed so many mouths. If that day ever comes then I will be asking Nate to stay at home with the kids so I can go with just one or none. Anyways, point is that it is going well and of course it is a little more tiring. Helen really is sweet though!
She's cute, huh?
Little buddies
Always playing
Here is Maggie Grace
